Jeff is a U.S. Olympian and the author of numerous top selling books in North America, including "Galloway's Book on Running", "Marathon You Can Do It!" and his new book "Galloway Training Programs". He is also a Runner's World Columnist.

Jeff has worked with over 200,000 people in training for specific goals and is the inventor of the Galloway Run/Walk method, with a 98% success rate.  His innovative ideas have opened up the possibility of running and competing in a marathon to almost everyone.


Running Business:

Jeff now supervises Galloway Productions, which conducts dozens of fitness seminars throughout North America, as well as fitness seminars throughout North America, as well as fitness vacations to Greece and Lake Tahoe and training groups in 40-50 cities a year.

As a race director, Jeff helped organize the Peachtree Road Race as it grew from 1200 to 12,000 in three years.  He organized the first Avon Marathon for women which contributed greatly to the inclusion of the women's marathon in the Olympics.  His main Atlanta event today is the Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk, which enters more than 20,000 each year.

Philosophically,  Jeff  believes  that we were all designed to run and walk, and he keeps finding ways to bring more people into the positive world of exercise.
